The protection of your privacy and the security of your stored data is a top priority for Ayano. Ayano therefore attaches great importance to security in the development and operation of FAHRPOOL. Ayano takes all customary and reasonable measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. This privacy policy describes the handling of data generated when using FAHRPOOL.

2 Your data at FAHRPOOL
When you use the services of FAHRPOOL, you send data to the FAHRPOOL server. For example, this may be e-mail addresses or telephone numbers. Other data is generated implicitly through your use, for example log data.
Ayano uses this information exclusively for analysis and to further improve the product for you. Ayano does not sell any data to third parties.
3 Log data
Your accesses and actions on FAHRPOOL are recorded in so-called log data. This log data is required for troubleshooting, statistics, analyses, quality improvements and the identification of security problems and is analyzed selectively or statistically for this purpose.
4 Cookies
When you use the services of FAHRPOOL, cookies are stored on your computer. Cookies are small pieces of information that can be used to uniquely identify your browser and in which further information such as user settings can be stored.
4.1 Essential cookies
FAHRPOOL only uses essential cookies to enable users to edit and delete their data even without a user account. Some of the services can also be used without these cookies, although individual functions may then be restricted or faulty.
4.2 Cookies from third-party providers
FAHRPOOL does not use cookies from third-party providers such as social media platforms, tracking tools or search engines.
5 Access to your data
FAHRPOOL takes various measures to ensure that third parties cannot gain unauthorized access to other people's carpooling opportunities, e-mail addresses or telephone numbers.
The most important element for access protection is the unique link (equipped with a random code) that is used to access a ride pool. Only communicate this link to authorized persons, i.e. usually the participants of your event.
At FAHRPOOL, e-mail and telephone numbers are only displayed to authorized users and communicated by e-mail. Carpooling providers are authorized to see the e-mail addresses and telephone numbers of their passengers. Conversely, passengers are entitled to see the e-mail address and telephone number of the carpooling provider.
These measures effectively prevent your data from being indexed and displayed by search engines.
6 Data transfer and data transmission
We only pass on your personal data to third parties if this is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations or if we are legally obliged to do so (Art. 31 para. 2 lit. a and c FADP).

7 Data transfer to third countries (e.g. USA)
FAHRPOOL does not transmit any data to third countries, i.e. countries outside Switzerland and the EU/EFTA.
8 Right to rectification or erasure
You have the right to request information about whether and what personal data FAHRPOOL processes about you. You can also have your personal data corrected, blocked or deleted at any time by sending a written message via the contact form.
You can use the "Admin link" of your ride pool to complete it yourself or delete the carpooling opportunities and registrations for the carpooling opportunities separately.
Users of a ride pool can edit and delete their own content (rideshare offers and registrations for rideshare offers) themselves, provided they use the same browser with which the content was created.
9 Duration of storage of personal data
We only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the above-mentioned purposes or as long as we are legally obliged to do so (Art. 6 FADP). We will delete your personal data on request (if legally possible) or when we no longer need your data.
10 Location of the data
The FAHRPOOL database is located on servers in data centers in Switzerland. The data centers are certified in accordance with the internationally recognized ISO 27001 standard for information security and are PCI DSS accredited.
11 Changes
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time. The current version published on our website applies in each case.
